Seamless Services

Working in conjunction with Marsland Nash Associates this association can benefit our clients by providing a seamless service, covering both your personal and business affairs and future investment strategies.

Business Protection

Some risks are easy to identify such as potential damage to your stock or premises.  The hidden risks, which may lead to loss of profit, or have a serious impact on the future viability of your business, need to be carefully considered.

Business partnerships need to be confident that they would continue to operate in the event of the prolonged or permanent absence of a business partner.  Shareholders in a business especially a small to medium sized firm face similar concerns.

Gwen will work with businesses to identify the associated business risks and suggest measures to reduce the problems caused by the loss of key staff, partners or directors.

Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits

Retirement planning is becoming an increasingly complex area. Retirement planning for directors, partners and staff is becoming increasingly significant, especially since the introduction of Auto-Enrolment.

Pensions freedoms, announced in 2015, have created more choice in the way pension funds can be accessed. Areas of advice include:

  • Auto-enrolment solutions and all individual and group pension schemes
  • Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPSs) and Small Self-Administered Schemes (SSASs)
  • Group Life Cover
  • Group Private Health Insurance
  • Private Medical Insurance

Reviews

Personal Reviews are designed to bring peace of mind by providing the security of a financial review at your request.  The aim is to ensure that your investments, pensions and saving continue to work for you and develop to meet your needs as your circumstances also develop and change.

Business reviews focus on existing pension planning, including auto-enrolment, as well as checking that any existing business protection plans remain suitable.  The review will also take into account any future plans.

At Retirement Planning

It is vital that you have a consistent income during your retirement. In addition to reviewing your existing plans, you will benefit from having independent investment advice based on your specific circumstances and help with understanding the pension choices available to you, including stakeholder pensions and other investments vehicles which will provide you with a retirement income.

The value of pensions and the income they produce can fall as well as rise. You may get back less than you invested.

Inheritance Tax Planning

It is important to plan for Inheritance Tax.  The most important starting point for this is ensuring that you have a valid, up-to-date Will, which in turn might require you to consider the most effective use of tax exemptions. Clients will be helped to identify the most appropriate products or investment vehicle or the establishing of Trusts to protect assets for your beneficiaries.

Did you find what you were looking for ? No - then please email us and we will get straight back to you.

Investment Planning

There is a vast range of investment and savings options available.  Gwen can help clients explore how they can make the most of their savings and investments in ways the client can understand and be comfortable with.

The value of the investment and the income they produce can go down as well as up and you may not get back as much as you put in.
