The Team

Steve Marsland CTA

Initially trained in Hampshire and then London, Steve moved to the West Country in 1997 where he gained employment with a prominent medium sized firm of accountants.  In 2003 Steve decided that the time was right to branch out on his own and established his own practice working from home.  As a result of rapid growth he persuaded Zohan to join him at the end of 2003 which lay the foundations for the present practice.

As a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor, Steve is responsible for all tax matters affecting the client’s from both direct and indirect tax planning to more complex strategic planning including the use of tax mitigation schemes.  Steve is also responsible for the firm's marketing strategy and spends a great of deal of time seeing new clients and meeting with existing clients to ensure their business needs are regularly met.

Outside of work Steve is a keen skier and snowboarder and is a qualified level 1 BASI ski instructor.  He is a member of the Torquay Alpine Ski Club and as one of their Ski Instructors you will find him there most weekends between October and March.

Outside of work Zohan is a keen motorcyclist.  He tours Europe regularly on his road bike covering around 2,000 miles a trip, as well as riding green lane and endurance off road motorcycles on a hobby basis.
